Oil Paintings

These paintings are my first oil paintings, starting in 2023. Some are from oil painting classes in college, some are personal projects, and some are commissions. Here are my favorites!

Huntington Pier, 72 × 40 inches, oil on canvas, 2026

This is my first commission since moving back to SoCal post-grad! It took me roughly 50 hours total, including building the canvas and frame in my garage with my dad. Luckily, my amazing professors at Santa Clara University taught me how to construct a canvas on my own, which came in handy because this is a large, custom size. I believe this will be the first of many ocean-scapes to come!

Senior Project

Sierra Vista; Big Sur; Angel Island, 72 × 18 inches, oil on canvas, 2025

This is my senior project that capped my Bachelor’s in Studio Art. We spent the summer and fall of our senior year thinking about what to create. I chose to create paintings of the places in the Bay Area that held the most prominent memories for me: Sierra Vista, Big Sur, and Angel Island. These natural landscapes are responsible for opportunities to deeply connect with my closest friends and bond over God’s glorious creations.

ARTS 144

These are the first oil paintings I have ever made. In my painting class, we completed 4 paintings using 4 different techniques!

Bodega Bay (1-4), 18 × 12 inches, oil on canvas, 2023

Final Project

In the second half of the quarter, we were given an assignment to choose an artist to emulate and the subject matter to paint. The artist who inspired me was David Shevlino, and I selected my favorite photo of both me and my bestie teammate from our Junior season of volleyball.
